One of the best assets of Tumski Hotel is its location in the centre of the city at the top of The Vistula River bank, what gives you one of the best views one can see in Plock. Although it is centrally situated in a place where lots of people go for a walk, it is actually located in a quiet corner with the road traffic limited only to the Hotel cars. It is not far from here both to the Vistula River bank or the amphitheatre with the use of the steps from the Hotel and to the Old Market one hundred metres away or to the main street – Tumska, accessible only to pedestrians. A stroll is one of the best ways to spend a free part of the day as you not only get some fresh air but also can do something for the spirit and visit the twelfth century Cathedral, fourteenth century Masovian Dukes’ Castle, which is now the seat of Diocese Museum, Mariavite Cathedral, Divine Mercy Shrine, where the very first revelation of the image of merciful Jesus to saint sister Faustyna took place, or the Old Market, a real city square. You can also get on foot to a new cinema located at the beginning of Tumska Street, which is a real mark of the city after a perfect restoration. At the end of this street you can find a modern theatre with everyday performances with the auditorium filled to capacity. On the way you go pass thirteenth century Grodzka Street with nineteenth century buildings and Malachowskiego Street, where you can find one of the oldest schools in Europe - twelfth century Malachowianka.
When you wish to get to more distant places, such as the sport-concerts hall, swimming pool or shopping centre you can take a taxi and get there within not more than ten minutes, even to Orlen petrochemical plant, which is situated at the border of the city.
